I’ve been thinking a lot about this week’s theme and it’s been so powerful – the deeper meaning to all of … this.

It started at dance class the other day, when the teacher used the phrase, “till your soil.”  She invited us to pay attention to how we were “dancing” in our own space and what was coming up for us in that space.

This whole idea really resonated with me and it’s evolved all week long.  Especially with this Full Moon Cancer!  Talk about tilling the soil!

Just three simple words, that’s all it takes to seed your life and set it into motion. But what happens is, we are bombarded by so much more than three little words each day.

We veer off course because we allow our mind to go onto auto-pilot or over-drive listening to everything that’s “out there”. We co-mingle the beating of our own heart with the beating of another. We bump into other souls on their journey and ride-along their path for a while. Only to remember our own journey is what feeds our soul, not the path of another.

The December 2016 New Moon will take place on December 28th at 10:53PM PST. It will fall in the sign of Capricorn and pack energy that will need to go somewhere.  It’s time to start “seeing” things in a new way and expect the unexpected with the last New Moon of 2016.

Given that Capricorn is one of the most ambitious signs, many of us will start to get into a “get up and go mode”. However, it’s quite likely that many of us are still enjoying the holiday festivities and time away from work. We’re likely not going to use this “push” to do anything too strenuous given that Mars is now in Pisces either, dancing closely to Neptune.

I’ve been reviewing my life these last several weeks.  And not just the last year, like most may do.  No, with all the astrological orchestration we witnessed in 2016, I decided to go back about … oh … 8-9 years.

With this last Mercury Retrograde aligned with the Pluto Conjunction and the Winter Solstice, I decided to dig a little deeper. I thought it might be important and I was right.  Digging deep can be very enlightening to say the least.  It’s been a journey … these last 8 years … a flipping journey.  For me personally, I feel like my life has shifted 180 degrees and I don’t think I’m alone in that feeling.

This week has been a whirlwind – optimistically speaking of course.  So much happening isn’t there?  Some mornings I wake up so on edge, wondering what’s going to come down the “pipeline” of my life.  What type of “news” is going to pop up on my iPad (because I can’t figure out HOW to get that damn notification OFF!) that may or may not affect me.

The phrase “divine vigilance” came to me at the beginning of the week and as always, it has evolved in it’s meaning. 

I have to be honest and say that I have had a challenging time staying completely in the light these days. When I look outside myself, I witness such hypocrisy, negativity, affluenza, anesthetization, and violence. It can be debilitating for this mystic momma. I get this urge to run and quickly step back into the light; to tune everyone out, and put my rose colored glasses on and keep them on.

I haven't had this feeling in awhile and it’s very uncomfortable.

I write about gratitude a lot it seems.  Actually, it’s a great topic to revisit over and over again because in my humble opinion, it’s easy to forget to be grateful.  It’s easy to get caught up in the drama or mundane activities in life and forget to give thanks. 

And then of course there is the age old, “you cannot attract anything new into your life until you are grateful for what you already have.” 

Stability and security… what does it mean to you?

We are an interesting breed…we humans. Often we surround ourselves with things that make us feel secure in this ever- shifting world.

And we all do it… no one is exempt. We find a community to contribute to and lean on; a job to receive financial energy from; a home to root into and spread out our stuff in; a partner to ‘complete’ us, and material items to call our own.

Today, a monumental day; one that I honestly thought we would be celebrating the first female President and instead, I am immobilized and cannot even feel my own body. The tears won’t stop and anger wells up in my body.  And at the same time I am so full of love for my children that it’s all overwhelming.

I have to tell you that I love the number 11.  And in my life, I have always made pivotal turns in the month of November.  I never knew why until I started studying astrology and numerology. My “number” is 11… it’s a Master Number..

What does that mean?  Number 11?  The 11 is the most intuitive of all numbers. It is instinctual, charismatic, dynamic and capable when its sights are set on a concrete goal. The 11 is the number associated with faith and psychics. 

It reminds me of that time, in the Bible, when Moses came and parted the Red Sea.  You remember that right?  I remember the visual on our small television set … really great affects for way back then.  It was chaos, crazy-town, mayhem; and then whoosh, in one wave of Moses’ staff, the “bad” influence was swallowed up by the Sea.

But passion does that …

It’s a higher state of consciousness where you are open to receive, which goes against the very way we humans “do” things.  The paradox of those moments is that in that nothingness, there is everything.  You see, we have it all wrong.  Our society would like us to believe that we have to do, prove, accumulate and achieve in order to BE, but that is not truth.  Truth is BE-ing is just that … BE-ing.

I was trying to come up with a word to encapsulate a weekly theme and honestly, I was a bit concerned about the word that kept coming to me.  It was the word mantra.

I hold the word mantra in such high esteem.  I mean for me personally, when I recite mantra, it’s a devotional calling to the Divine. Period. 

You know, this whole election is really upsetting me.  Actually to be clear, the state of our country is really upsetting.  I want to go on and on about what’s wrong, I really do!  Just to vent and get it all off my chest and out of my heart. 

But it’s so heavy; it’s all so heavy.  The weight of our mistakes, our guilt, our shame, our anger, our fear, our illusion of separation ...

Faith is not a religion, as so I was taught so many years ago. Faith was, at that time, something outside of myself I needed to learn to believe in.  Something that I could look to for support and guidance.  Something that I had to go to and be a part of so I felt like I belonged. 

But that is not faith at all from what I am learning now …No...

I know I’ve written about this before … I know I have.  Multiple times to be honest.  And I think it’s a topic that warrants revisiting over and over again.  Because clarity isn’t just something that happens one day and then the work is done

Clarity is something that is refined throughout our lifetime.  And I think that’s because we are ever shifting beings, which means our aperture, that which we view our life through, is always shifting.  So what we view each day can take on a new appearance, a new vision, a new outlook, every single time we open our eyes.

I’ve confirmed what I have always known to be true … vulnerability is the best kind of strength there is.  I don’t have a lot to say this week to be honest except this:

There’s no time to waste, hiding the truth.

There’s no reason to protect your heart.

There’s nothing better than two people speaking from their most open places.

There’s nothing more sexy than saying it like it is.

There’s nothing more profound than exposing what you know to be true, right now.

I do have to say, as I myself balance between seemingly two realities right now, this word is perfect for any day, but especially this past week and moving into this Full Moon energy on Friday. 

Equanimity:  mental or emotional stability or composure,
especially under tension or strain; calmness; equilibrium.

We are offered countless opportunities to up level our vibration on any given day. And this doesn’t mean:

1.              We are perfect;
2.              We are better than anyone else; or
3.              We have achieved something in our life.

No. Actually, up leveling means that we are now more aware.

I’ve been playing around with this word “surrender” all week long and I purposely waited until Thursday night to write this blog because I just knew the word would completely rock my week … and it did.  And let me just say here, this blog is not going to skim the surface with sugar coated, prophetic words thread together … it’s laced in truth.
