Nourish Rest and Restore
We receive more information on a day-to-day basis than we were ever meant to receive. Our nervous systems are compromised, and anxiety and depression is on the rise.
It’s time to nourish, rest, restore and receive.
Restorative yoga classes are meant to realign our bodies with their natural rhythms. We use blankets, blocks, straps, and bolsters to help us relax and rest deeply and completely into a pose. During deep relaxation all the organ systems of the body are allowed to rest.
One of the best things we can do for ourselves is balance our daily lives with restorative yoga. Benefits include:
· Reduction of blood pressure
· Improvement of immune function
· Improvement in digestion, elimination
· Reduction of muscle tension and generalized fatigue
In this training you will learn:
Techniques to calm the nervous system
Ways to nourish the adrenals
Restorative postures to complete and balance your practice
Meditation and pranayama balance hormone levels
