Imagine you want to build a skyscraper right?  The Law of Physics will tell you that you must dig deep into the Earth in order to excavate the foundation that will sustain the building right?  And you must have a plan – a sturdy one at that.  

That is this energy, it has been building for the entire year.  

Thank you for your patience while I move through this energy with ease and grace. You see, personally I feel like I am sitting in the eye of something new. I have been in a lovely whirlwind of abundance, new beginnings, hope and recognition (or maybe it’s a remembrance), of my power to manifest.  

Be patient while reading this … there is a lot to it.  

It’s been a bit unsettling – this astrological serenade from the skies. Asking us to clear the way, pay attention to our relationships, watch our words, and release the binds that tie us.  No human wants to let go.  

 But we must.  And this Full Moon is a good time to do that.  The Taurus Full Moon happens on the day after the portal opens on 11:11, Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 5:34am.  And it’s a beauty.  

2019 is about coming home. About being in your heart and nowhere else.  Yeah, already been tested on how far my vulnerability meter will go … I’d like to expand that space in 2019. I’d like to fall in love for real and I think I’ll start with myself.  

Many planets are in dignified position … Saturn in Capricorn; Jupiter in Sagittarius; Venus in Libra…. Things are leveling out and aligning.  Can you work with that energy?  Can you pause … can you trust?  Can you believe in the bigger picture that your heart has been yearning for? This is the year.  But you have to come clean.  You have to drop that shit…. Oh and with love.  

So here we are at the end of this year – don’t get too excited and don’t expect much.  Just drop into the energy and know that we can only go up from here.  This New Moon is in Sagittarius – adventure, joy, expansion, bliss …. All galloping in the direction of the heart.  

The New Moon happens at 15 degrees Sagittarius, at 11:21pm PST. It’s a time to wake up, to step into a new level of understanding this world and your role in it.  It’s time to put your knowledge into practice, and to trust your inherent wisdom.

It’s an important moment of the year for many reasons.  First off, this is the first of FIVE consecutive full moons at zero degrees. Yes, zero degrees.  A huge, pivot point.  Are you feeling that yet?  If things are shifting or pivoting for you, there’s still a bit of work to be done and completed.  Keep hanging on with your heart in your hands and allow the onset of the next 5 Full Moons bring perspective to what’s been going on for you. 

I do believe that everything that’s happened individually and globally has brought us to this point.  We’ve had to contract in order to give birth.  We’ve had to drop into the darkness to see the light. We’ve had to struggle in order to feel grace. All the prophetic yogi phrases … it’s all happening now. But don’t waste it. Don’t wallow in the darkness.  Stay just long enough to alchemize it. Here’s my suggestions for 11:11:  

The New Moon Scorpio happens November 7 at 8:02am. This is a powerful New Moon for many reasons.  One is that well, it’s in Scorpio, so by default we go to the depths. Scorpio reaches for truth no matter what.  Scorpio allows for transformation. Scorpio goes beyond your comfort zone to get to the truth.  Scorpio wants you to be empowered by the truth.  But you have to go to the depths to get there. 

It's all unfolding, revealing, ushering me to new heights.  It's all the things that have become clear with the ocean waves.  The first three weeks living here in Encinitas, afforded me naps like you wouldn't believe.  They weren't a luxury, they were a necessity.  I was rundown, overwhelmed, and exhausted on every level.  

I had to nap to survive. 

And now I know why.  This world needs super-heroes.

If you’re paying attention, you’re noticing a heightened awareness, an angst that things are shifting, an unveiling of the truth.  The Moon with Uranus brings about clarity, psychic intuition and puts things into HD. The new Moon we just experienced was in Libra and this full Moon is in Taurus – both planets ruled by Venus. Venus is in retrograde – please don’t take this for granted.  Every relationship you have is up for an upgrade but remember that every relationship you are experiencing is really a reflection of the one you have with your Self. Act accordingly.  

New moons are always a time to go inward, set intentions and begin a new trajectory in our life.  This one in particular is seeking balance – in all areas of your life.  Your soul wants win-win situations and harmony in all relationships and your environment.  

This Moon in particular has a very strong Scorpio flavor mainly because just days prior to this New Moon, Venus went into retrograde in the sign of Scorpio.  This gives the lunation a deep, dark, luster and intense, emotional turning points.  

This is a big week.  We’re heading into a new month, a New Moon is only a week away and this Thursday, well, my favorite planet and Goddess, Venus, goes into retrograde.  

She goes into retrograde on October 5th in Scorpio, and then goes direct about 40 days later, in Libra.  This one will be tumultuous, I’m not going to lie.  Your relationships are all up for renewal, which means deep alchemical opportunities.  In my experience this process can be a bit uncomfortable at times, so be prepared.  

The Full Moon is always about releasing, letting go, checking in, and celebrating.  We can do that through fire ceremony, dancing around in white robes, meditating on our own, or gathering with close friends. Basically though, the theme is getting clear and concise about that which we want to release.  We can gather and hold space for each other and stare up at that lovely Moon…or not.  But She will have her way with you if you let Her.  This is my way of allowing Divine flow through me … honoring the Moon.  

As always, New Moons are about new beginnings. Hitting the reset button. And after all these eclipses, things should start smoothing out a bit now. Those eclipses were no joke. And if you still have lessons to learn (you’re here, you have lessons to learn), well, they’re still showing up here and there.  You’ll feel it in your bones.  Notice it when you trip up for a second.  Get a little riled up about something.  But don’t let it snag you. It’s residual moving through you to make space for the creative, strategic, EPIC paradigm you are embarking upon. Don’t wallow in the what was. What you’ve been through.  How crazy it was … 

Self-Mastery --- I love this phrase.  I really do. Self … Mastery.  Yes, we are here to Master the Self.  

We are not here to be distracted by all the things.  Derailed by the ego.  Dragged into old patriarchal, societal, or family beliefs or ways of doing things. No we are not, but we do.  We do so willingly and the only thing I can say is, we better learn something in the process.  This last year has been about just that.  Learning. Growing, Evolving.  Letting Go.

Although … to be honest, every breath here is about growing isn’t it?  But more often than not, we waste them on worrying, judging, blaming. Why I wonder.  

But this New Moon is different … REALLY different. It’s super charged with a Solar Eclipse and about 12 other crazy aspects that are truly rewiring who we are and what we came here to do.  It’s not a time to feed your addictions, ignore what’s happening, act unconsciously or feed the flame of your deepest desires.  

Almost, but not just yet.  Now’s the time to chill, relax, love, play, observe, listen and align deeply.  While you’re awake and asleep.  So even if you’re not sleeping you may want to at the very least, document some dreams and surrender to what’s up. 

This New Moon is big, they always are, but this one is aligned with the first of three (not two), but three eclipses in a row. Here’s what I know to be true about eclipses. They are a reset button, whether you like it or not.  Whether you want it or not. Whether you are prepared or not, may or may not make a difference.  But this one is big and it’s recalibrating your relationships, your career, and the way you assert yourself emotionally. 

This Full Moon Capricorn is a no joke rollercoaster of emotions.  Not only is this a powerful Full Moon asking you to look at where you use your energy, it’s asking you to get really, really real as the Moon sits alongside Saturn, gatekeeper of truth and structure.  How outdated are you structures, your systems, your beliefs about your life? Relationships? Environment?  Spirituality? And mostly your career. How you put yourself out into the world

It was October 2012 when I took off for San Francisco to see what was outside my walls and interviewed with Yoga Tree.  I immediately fell in love with the Castro studio.  It was love at first sight.  But like any love affair, it didn’t come easy.  I was offered a job to at Yoga Tree but it was to open the new studio in Marin, six weeks later.  I took it.

The Naysayers said, “There’s no way.” And “You can’t leave your girls.” And “Get a real job.”  But I went anyway; against every single rational thought, I left.  Left my sweet angels for 9 months, which broke my heart to no end.  But I was setting up a new life for us and I never looked back.  Except of course to cry uncontrollably and barf a few times during my drive from Washington to San Francisco. 

The trip was a no joke initiation.

However … if we truly believe that we live in a holographic universe and things are happening on multiple dimensions, and that everyone we encounter is actually a version of something inside of our own Self, wouldn’t it be true that we actually are full of inspiration all the time?  And that our heart is just waiting to express it?
