New Moon Aquarius

The New Moon Aquarius happens on the bridge between two months:

January 31, 2022, at 9:46pm pst, and February 1, 2022, at 1:46am est. Keep in mind, this New Moon happens just after Venus goes direct, and just before Mercury stations direct. Lots has been up for review, swirling around, realigning, leaving, and arriving. Aquarius is about the bigger picture, humanitarian causes, and fast-moving changes. Once Mercury goes direct on February 3rd, all the planets will be direct, which means … speed.

Speed and quick moving energy. The theme for this week and for this transit is S O V E R E I G N T Y. Why? Because amidst all the changes that are happening on this planet, and with these astrological transits, it’s time to drop into the empowerment that happens with sovereignty. Empowerment over oneself; regardless of external interference. Aligning yourself with your intuition– listening in deeply so you can truly live your fullest life.

That sound like fun but when it’s sandwiched in between Venus and Mercury going direct, the ride could be a bit bumpy. But let me tell you:

Be excited.

Do the work.

Stop the blame.

Move into the next “bit” of your life.

Let go of the anchors that hold you back … only YOU can let it go. No-one else’s fault if you are feeling stuck … all you. The New Moon is conjunct Saturn: take one step at a time to “manifest” that which you desire. Be clear. Be truthful. Be free. Calculated risks for the win.

Saturn and the New Moon square Uranus: this is where the SOVEREIGNTY comes from. Uranus rules Aquarius: higher mind, liberation, speed. Be your own boss. Let go of all the “things” …for real this time. Otherwise, you WILL be dragged.

Keep in mind: there are four planets in Capricorn: Mars/Venus moving toward a conjunction (2/16) and Mercury/Pluto just as Mercury goes direct. You WILL have the opportunity for deep, enlightened conversations that complete some karmic upheaval. You WILL feel compelled to speak and live your truth. And your path may not be the popular vote … but that’s okay. It’s your life … remember?
