Re-member
The world is spinning so much faster these days isn’t it? It’s so easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of possibility, drama, experience, and energy of everyone else. That’s why a pause is necessary …. And often.
I sat with my teacher the other day and she said, “The path of a yogi is to remember to keep her prana in close.” Easier said than done sometimes, but doable nonetheless.
Such powerful, perfect, and potent wisdom.
Venus stationed direct the other day, just before Easter. And at the same time, we now have four planets in retrograde: Saturn (long term sustainable plans), Mercury (communication), Jupiter (integrity, authenticity, value), and now Pluto (shadows, darkness, ancestry).
It’s a time to review our life. And not from a place of judgment but from a place of gratitude, grace, compassion and love. Not from a place of regret or shame, but a place of honoring and inspiration.
I kept thinking about what the theme would be. I thought for sure it would be re-birth what with Easter and all, but no, there is energy swirling around asking us to process. To review, recalibrate, realign, reintegrate, rewire before we jump forth and re-veal or re-birth ourselves. Before we unveil a potential new version of our soul’s vision for us.
Keep in mind we are still sitting in between two big eclipses of the year. We experienced a partial eclipse back on February 26, 2017 which as always, has the potential to bring about swift, undeniable change. Abrupt endings and openings for new beginnings almost always happen with eclipses.
The next one comes on August 21, 2017 and will be visible in Oregon. This one is promising to close up this portal we’ve been sloshing around in since February. I don’t know about you, but I’m not quite ready to close the portal just yet. I’ve got a little recalibrating to do.
Why? Why review?
Because ultimately your intention is to re-member.
To bring together the parts of yourself that you’ve scattered all over the place.
To notice your wholeness and your greatness.
To remember who you really are.
