The physical practice is just the beginning. Yoga is thousands of years old, with a rich history and philosophy. Click on the text below to learn about each of our different intensive weekends. Weekends can be taken as independent workshops, and each weekend counts at 16 hours towards your RYT500. Sign up for each weekend individually, or commit to the entire path (all 6 weekends) in advance to save big.

Tap into the healing and transformative energies of the Goddess in this weekend intensive with Dana Damara. Spend a weekend learning the stories and wisdom of Gods and Goddesses; Kali and Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati, to name a few. We'll call on their energies using myth, asana, breath work, mantra and mudra. Applying mystical priestess technologies, we'll hold space for that which we are ready and willing to transform, transmute, and manifest, as we shift our energy to align with our purpose.

1 weekend: 16 hours

Oftentimes studies of the Yoga Sutras only cover Books 1 and 2. This session is designed to introduce you to Book 3. We'll cover this book Sutra-by-Sutra, including group discussions and opportunity for take-home integration.

One weekend: 16 hours

Ashtanga yoga literally translates as Ashta = eight, anga = limb. While this description is commonly used to describe a branch of the physical practice, the Eight Limb Path is at the very heart of the yogic philosophy.

Get more familiar with the 8 limbs of yoga, starting with a basic review of the Yamas and Niyamas, then heading into the last few limbs with discussions, meditations, and class practices specific to those limbs.

Prerequisite: Yamas, Niyamas, and Soul Support

One weekend: 16 hours

In the Yoga Sutras the physical practice (asana) and the breath (pranayam) are a precursor to the powerful practice of meditation. In this weekend we will find our comfortable seat and explore different aspects of meditation and visualization.

Learn how to create an altar, how to find energetic focus, and how to drop into a deeper mindspace (and out of the noise and busyness of the conscious mind). We'll begin with simple techniques for meditation, and then move into a deeper practice of connection with the divine.

One weekend: 16 hours.

Go deeper into the Yamas and Niyamas. We'll work our way through the Yamas and Niyamas, as outlined in the 1st and 2nd book of the Yoga Sutras, and culminate the weekend by creating the Soul Medicine chart - a powerful tool that condenses and procures the yogic coping mechanisms for life’s hiccups.
